Last Updated(Beijing Time):2012-06-21 21:45

The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) will provide 50 million euros (63 million U.S. dollars) in support financing to Armenian banks and businesses until 2014, the BSTDB's leader said Thursday.

"During the first two years, BSTDB will concentrate on commercial activities and infrastructure as well as on development of the energy industry. The bank intends to expand its continuing support to Armenian small and medium enterprises," Andrei Kondakov told reporters.

Kondakov also said there will be an annual meeting of the bank here on Sunday.

The BSTDB, headquartered in Thessaloniki, Greece, is an international financial institution established in 1997.

Armenia, one of the founders of the BSTDB, holds a 3.7 percent share of the bank.
