Tottenham Hotspur defender Ryan Nelsen has been named captain of the New Zealand soccer team for the London Olympics.
Nelsen was among the first batch of Olympians confirmed Wednesday at a ceremony to mark 100 days until the start of the games.
Bevan Docherty, bronze medalist in the 2008 Olympics, was named as one of four New Zealand triathletes who will compete in London. |
