Indonesia's inflation rises up to 0.7 pct in July |

A senior official at national statistic bureau of BPS said on Wednesday that the country's inflation throughout last month reached 0.7 percent, or 0.05 percent higher than 0.65 percent in the previous month.
"Monthly price cumulative index has increased, particularly affected by the increasing of food prices," BPS Chairman, Suryamin, said here.
The July inflation figure came up from the consumer price index that stood at 133.16 last year, or higher than 132.23 in the previous month.
"Food price still dominates factors that rises the inflation in July. It is followed by increasing tobacco price, processed food and beverages, transportation, communication and financial services," he said.
He added that inflation rate from January to July this year has reached 2.5 percent and annual inflation from July this year compared to it was last year stood at 4.56 percent. |
