Japan's industrial production was down a seasonally adjusted 1.2 percent in July from the previous month, government data showed Friday.
The index of output at factories and mines stood at 91.5 against the base of 100 for 2005, according to a report released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
The index of industrial shipments fell 3.6 percent to 90.8 while that of inventories was up 2.8 percent to 110.5. |
