One person was killed, at least two dozen others were injured after a blast toppled a biopharmaceutical plant in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei province, Tuesday afternoon.
A reaction kettle exploded from excessive pressure at around 1 p.m., causing a workshop to collapse at the Luyuan Biological Product Plant, firefighters said.
At least three people were severely wounded in the tragedy.
Rescue operation is underway. |
