Tavares Chimbili, a short and slim Angolan man with wide and thick lips, looked pale as he has just recovered from dengue fever, but his eyes glittered and appeared firm when talking about his 7-year experience in China.

"I have a Chinese name which sounds almost the same as my family name, my Chinese teachers took the name for me in 2006 and I still use the name when I am in touch with Chinese people", Chimbili said in his tiny container-turned office.

Chimbili, on his 30s, spoke fluent Chinese with a little Beijing accent. He went to Beijing in 2006 and stayed in the city for seven years, studying Chinese in Beijing Language and Culture University before moving to China's Science and Technology University and then finished his master courses in Qinghua University.

The man returned to his homeland in early 2014 and are now working for a Chinese company Citic Construction, which contracted and built the Kilamba Kiaxi social housing project in southern Luanda, a multi-billion-dollar new satellite town to the capital.

In Citic Construction, Chimbili served as a liaison officer for the company's social payback and responsibilities.

"When I was in Beijing, my Chinese classmates were so nice and friendly to me, and I like Chinese cooking but my skills are really so so", Chimbili grinned, "but my wife was great and much better than me when cooking Chinese meals, and she can even cook food with flavors from China's Xinjiang province".

Chimbili's wife Mary, a white girl from Australia, was his classmate at Beijing Language and Culture University. The couple was wedded in Angola months ago.

"I like China, because I not only got my higher education there, I also got my wife there", Chimbili laughed.

Mary also got her master degree in Qinghua University and joined Chimbili in Angola later. "Mary not only cooks better Chinese food, but also speaks better Chinese than me", Chimbili said, "She is interested in humanities and hoped to promote Chinese culture in the future".

" I found myself in 100 percent agreement with a modern and popular Chinese saying: a country can never become a real power unless it could export its culture," Chimbili said.

Currently, Citic Construction was in touch with Angola's Neto University to jointly build a Confucius Institute in Luanda to promote Chinese language and culture in the African country, Chimbili also served as a liaison officer.

"Chinese dream is a often-mentioned word in China now, and I also have ingredients of a Chinese dream", Chimbili said, " That is to promote and spread Chinese culture".

The proposed Confucius College, will introduce China to the world and vise versa, Chimbili said.
