China, DR Congo pledge to boost military ties

Xu Qiliang, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, on Tuesday met with Alexandre Luba Ntambo, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Xu praised the two countries' steadily progressing relations as well as the long-term, close exchange and cooperation between armies of the two sides.

Xu said armies of the two countries cooperated in personnel and technology, and China has high regard for the ties between the two and is willing to push forward friendly military collaboration.

Alexandre Luba Ntambo also hailed the friendship and military ties between the two countries and expressed his willingness to strengthen concrete cooperation in various fields with China.
