New Egyptian authorities will comply with all international obligations before the new president comes to power, Egyptian Ambassador to Russia Alaa El Hadidi said Monday.
"In all the addresses of (the new president) Mohamed Morsi and other Egyptian leaders, they repeatedly stressed Egypt would obey all its international obligations. Egypt will not make any move in violation of the obligations it has accepted," Hadidi told reporters here.
Egypt needs "broad economic cooperation with different countries on a mutually beneficial basis," the ambassador said.
Meanwhile, Hadidi said that Egypt will stick to the Camp David accords signed with Israel in 1979, which ended a 30-year-old conflict between the two countries. |
