Egypt's Administrative Court decided Thursday to postpone the ruling of a lawsuit that demand the dissolution of the current Constitutional Assembly to July 30, official news agency MENA reported.

The court said it postponed the case because it is still reviewing related papers.

Supreme Constitutional Court suspended on July 10 a presidential decree reinstating the dissolved People's Assembly ( lower house of parliament). The president later expressed his respect of the suspension.

Two days earlier, President Mohamed Morsi ordered that the dissolved parliament resume work and that new parliamentary elections be held within 60 days after the country's new constitution is approved by a public referendum.

The Supreme Constitutional Court ruled on June 14 that the People's Assembly was null and void as some articles of the parliament election law were unconstitutional. The then-ruling military council ordered the dissolution of the People's Assembly in line with the verdict and retook legislative powers.

However, the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamists have rejected the dissolution of parliament.
