Egypt's PM arrives in Sudan to reactivate joint agreements

Egyptian Prime Minister Hesham Qandil on Wednesday arrived in Sudanese capital of Khartoum on a two-day visit during which he is to hold talks with senior Sudanese officials.

Qandil is accompanied by a number of ministers with the aim to reactivate the joint agreements between the two countries and implement what has recently been agreed upon between Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.

The Egyptian prime minister is also expected to attend Thursday the inauguration of a branch of the Egyptian National Bank in Khartoum as part of the two countries' endeavor to increase the commercial exchange and facilitate means of common cooperation.

The Egyptian delegation, which also includes a number of Egyptian businessmen, is expected to meet with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and other officials and businessmen to review agricultural, industrial and commercial investment projects in Sudan.
