Brazil's stadium construction resumes following crane collapse
Construction workers have returned to the stadium which will host the opening match of the World Cup in Brazil, five days after an accident killed two workers.
The crew at the Itaquerao Stadium in Sao Paulo expressed their determination to finish work ahead of the World Cup opening game on June the 12th next year. Work was suspended after a crane collapsed last Wednesday as it was hoisting a 500-ton piece of roofing.
That area remains off-limits. The cause of the accident has not been determined, but investigators say they're considering human error, a problem with the crane, and the possibility that rain-sodden ground had shifted under the weight.
