An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted off the east coast of Honshu, Japan at 0652 Beijing Time on Wednesday (2252 GMT on Tuesday), the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.20 km, was initially determined to be at 37.1868 degrees north latitude and 144.1125 degrees east longitude. |
