At least six people were killed when a fire broke out in the biggest vegetable market in Nepali capital Kathmandu late Saturday night, police said.
"We have recovered six bodies from the market but no one has been identified, a person seriously injured has been taken to the hospital," Deputy Superintendent of Police Tek Bahadur Tamang to Xinhua.
Tamang said that the fire broke out about 10 p.m. local time on Saturday. The police has said that the fire was apparently caused by short circuit. |
