A large fire broke out at a tyre factory in Dural in Sydney's north-west on Tuesday morning and residents living nearby were evacuated as a precaution, the New South Wales (NSW) police said.
Emergency services were called to the Dural Business Center on Old Northern Road before 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday after four units at the center caught fire.
About 100 firefighters were battling the laze at its peak, but no one was injured in the fire, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) reports.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage, police said. |
