The Indian police have arrested a man in connection with a hoax bomb call for a Mumbai-Delhi passenger flight Saturday, reported Press Trust of India Tuesday.
The Go Air passenger plane bound for Delhi returned to Mumbai after taking off following reports that a passenger was carrying a bomb. The passengers were all deplaned and the flight was stranded at the Mumbai airport for hours.
Sandeep Menon, an engineer, was arrested Monday as he wanted to stop a business partner from leaving the city and made a call saying that the man was carrying explosives. |
