Thai House of Representatives on Wednesday voted in support of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and three other ministers who were targeted during the censure debate.

The three other ministers are Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung, Defence Minister Sukumpol Suwanatat and Deputy Interior Minister Chatt Kuldilok.

Yingluck received 308 votes of confidence and 159 votes of no- confidence.

Chalerm was given confidence with a vote of 287-157.

Sukumpol was given confidence with a vote of 284-160.

Chatt Kuldilok received a vote of 284-182.

Following the vote, House Speaker Somsak Kiatsuranont announced that all four cabinet ministers grilled in the censure debate had received a vote of confidence from the House of Representatives.

The House originally had 500 members, but only 493 attended the meeting. The rest have been suspended with legal problems.

According to the constitution, a vote of 247, or more than one half of 493, is required to survive the no-confidence vote.

During the censure debate from November 25-26. the opposition Democrat Party pinpointed the government's failure in its administration of the country, particularly in the rice pledging scheme and suspicious spending in the flood relieving budget last year.
