The heads of military operation of the defense ministries of India and Pakistan are in touch after two Indian soldiers were reportedly killed by Pakistani troops near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir on Tuesday, said a statement of the Indian Defense Ministry.
The statement, carried by local TV channel CNN-IBN, said India considered the killing of two Indian soldiers a provocation by Pakistan and condemned it.
It also said New Delhi expects Islamabad to strictly honor ceasefire agreement along the LoC in Kashmir. |
