Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) President Liow Tiong Lai said lately that the MCA has set up the foreign trade promotion committee to strengthen ties between Malaysian and Chinese commercial chambers for business opportunities in a government-to-government way.

The newly established committee is headed by Minister in Prime Minister's Department Wee Ka Siong.

Liow Tiong Lai noted the purpose of the establishment of foreign trade committee is to assist Malaysian commercial chambers particularly to help them to strengthen ties with the Chinese government.

He said the MCA should help Chinese businessmen in the economic field and provide a better platform to smooth work for them.
