Three people were killed and 13 others were injured when a regional train collided with a works engine near the German town of Offenbach on Friday, the BBC reported.
A total of 35 passengers were onboard the train traveling from Frankfurt to Hanau when the train ran into a maintenance crane on the track.
The train driver and two members of a construction crew were killed, German media reported. Seven people were taken to hospital with severe injuries. |
