The Georgian presidential administration said on Tuesday that U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is expected to visit Georgia, although the date of the visit is not yet set.
Presidential spokesperson Manana Manjgaladze told a routine briefing that the visit date might be decided at the ongoing meeting of the working group in Washington within the U.S.-Georgia Strategic Partnership Charter.
Manjgaladze said the working group is discussing issues relating to defense and security, trade and economy, democratic cooperation, and human relations.
The Georgian group was led by Giga Bokeria, secretary of the Georgian National Security Council.
According to Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze, organizational and preparational work has been completed on the Georgian side for Clinton's visit.
Clinton last visited the south Caucasus country in July, 2010. |
