| Azerbaijan sends 2nd aid convoy to Russia's flood-hit region |

Azerbaijan on Tuesday sent its second aid convoy to Russia's Krasnodar region affected by flood.
Spokesman for the country's Emergency Ministry Ilham Abdullayev told journalists that the convoy of 22 vehicles with drinking water, hygienic packages, dresses for women and children will arrive in the disaster zone on Wednesday.
The vehicle convoy is accompanied by 51 Azeri rescuers.
The first aid convoy with food was sent to Krasnodar on July 8 and included 22 vehicles and 38 rescuers.
Russia's Krasnodar region was hit by flood last Friday following torrential rains. More than 170 people died and 25,000 people were affected in the town of Krymsk and neighbouring cities of Gelendzhik and Novorossiisk. |
