Members of the Movement of Enterprises in France (MEDEF) are scheduled to visit Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo, on Monday evening, a statement from the French Embassy in the Central African country said.
The Sept. 24-27 visit is a response to the request made by Congolese President Denis Sassou N'Guesso during his visit to France in February.
During the visit, the Congolese president urged French economic operators to organize a trip to the Republic of Congo to explore investment opportunities in the country.
The delegation will comprise 42 business leaders from sectors such as construction, energy, insurance and transport. They are scheduled to meet with the Congolese president.
The French business leaders will also attend a forum during which they will be informed about the investment opportunities in the Republic of Congo.
During the visit, the Congolese Interprofessional and Employers' Union (UNICONGO), the Congolese government and the French Business School will sign a training agreement. |
