Russian anti-submarine ship Marshal Shaposhnikov is visiting South Korean port of Pusan, the Pacific Fleet said Monday.

The routine visit started on Sunday and would last five days until April 18, the Pacific Fleet's spokesperson Roman Martov told Itar-Tass news agency.

The Russian delegation, led by Commander of the Pacific Fleet convoy Rear Admiral Vladimir Vdovenko, would pay a protocol visit to the Command of the South Korean Navy on Tuesday, Martov said.

During the visit, Russian navy sailors would have "an intensive cultural program," said the spokesperson, adding Russian nationals and residents of the city could visit the warship.

The Marshal Shaposhnikov warship, along with sea tanker Irkut and the rescue tugboat Alatau completed a long anti-piracy mission in the Gulf of Aden and returned to its base at the port of Vladivostok on March.

The crew of the warship includes marine units and the aviation group with two deck helicopters for reconnaissance missions.
