French military officer wounded in Mali
A gunman on Friday shot at a French military officer in Bamako slightly injuring him, according to local reports.
The shooter, not identified yet, wounded the French officer in his head and shoulder. His health situation was not serious, media reports said.
Shortly after the shooting, Malian security forces arrested the gunman.
Since Paris sent its troops in January 2013 to the West African country to help restore stability, seven soldiers have been killed.
