Bodies of 12 people were found in the town of Obrenovac South West of Belgrade, after water started to decline, while at Kostolac in the East police and military fight to save the flood-stricken power plant.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, after visiting the flooded areas, said that it is not the final count of flood victims, as Obrenovac still remains under water, although it is in slow decline.

River Mlava, one of the Southern tributaries of Danube broke to the second level of flood protection, and threatens to flow into the Drmno surface mine and the power plant Kostolac B some 90 kilometers to the East of Belgrade.

In the Kostolac B power plant, water has broken the flood protection, and the production of electricity is seriously in danger, Serbian power supplier EPS stated.

Military police and employees of the power plant try to change the course of the river with machines, and lead the water as further away.

Earlier at the press conference PM Aleksandar Vucic announced that the state of emergency that was declared on May 15 will not be ended soon, as Sava River still poses a great threat.
