Poland counting flood damage: media
Damaged roads, broken bridges, washed out flood barriers and over 900 flooded buildings have been left in the wake of the floods that have hit southern Poland in the last week, according to local press.
Estimates suggest that the damage is worth well over 10 million euros (13.7 million U.S. dollars).
The floods were heading north on Wednesday and alarms have been raised in Plock, but it is believed that little damage will be done.
In the area of Muszyna near the Slovakian border, where 21 buildings were flooded, 6 km of roads damages and 3 bridges broken, damage is estimated at over 1million euro.
