Ukrainian army: insurgents shoot down chopper, killing 9
The Ukrainian army said insurgents shoot down a military cargo helicopter on Tuesday in the restive east, killing all nine people on board.
Preliminary information showed that all the nine people on board the Mi-8 helicopter died, according to military spokesman Vladyslav Seleznyov.
The incident happened just a day after the insurgents announced a truce until June 27 to match a week-long ceasefire of government forces ordered by President Petro Poroshenko.
