Cabin smoke forces plane to make precautionary landing in Copenhagen
A Lufthansa passenger plane had to make a precautionary landing at the Copenhagen Airport on Tuesday after smoke was reported in the cabin.
The Lufthansa flight LH848 was flying from Frankfurt to Helsinki when smoke was found, according to Danish news agency Ritzau.
"Passengers on board are walking off the flight now, and they are currently being briefed out here at the airport," said Kasper Hyllested, press officer of the Copenhagen Airport.
The airport's fire brigade rushed to the scene. The Copenhagen Police were also on their way to the airport.
Hyllested confirmed there was no fire in the aircraft. The cause of the smoke remained unknown.
