Iran's Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi departed for Belarus on Monday to hold talks with Belarusian officials on matters of mutual interest, including bilateral cooperation, the local satellite Press TV reported.
During his two-day visit, Salehi will confer with his Belarusian counterpart and other officials on bilateral relations as well as ways to expand cooperation, said the report.
Political consultations on regional and international developments are also on the agenda of talks between Salehi and Belarusian officials.
In April 2011, the head of the Iran Trade Development Organization, Hamid Safdel, said Iran and Belarus would set up joint chamber of commerce to promote their economic ties. |
