Palestine and Israel have reached a Gaza ceasefire under Egyptian brokerage, media reports said Tuesday.
Israel and Palestinian factions in Gaza reached the agreement after four days of bloody conflicts in the strip.
Reports said the ceasefire went into effect at 1 a.m. Tuesday local time.
According to the reports, the Palestinians would stop launching rockets at southern Israeli cities while Israel would stop targeting militants in airstrikes.
Both Palestine and Israel have not formally announced the ceasefire so far. |
