Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has dismantled a "terrorist" group recently, the local satellite Press TV reported Wednesday.

The group, which infiltrated into southeast Iran over the past few days and intended to carry out acts of "terror", were identified by the IRGC forces and dismantled in an operation, said the report.

In the operation, a member of the group was killed, two others were captured and "a large number of weapons, explosive devices and communication equipment were also confiscated," according to Press TV.

The report did not elaborate on the accurate time of the incident and identity of the group.
