The Lebanese army arrested a Syrian national and two Lebanese in the capital Beirut, who allegedly have been planning to smuggle weapons, security sources told NBN television on Monday.
They identified the suspects as Mohammad al-Mohammad of Syria and two Lebanese men from Al-Hammoud family.
Meanwhile, Al Ikhbariya Syrian TV said that the Syrian customs "confiscated at a crossing point on the Syrian-Lebanese border a large quantity of smuggled weapons from Lebanon." |
