Iranian Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani said Wednesday that the United States and its allies do not dare to make any aggression against Iran, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.
The United States and its allies know that the Islamic republic is too powerful and will not allow them to carry out such " childish mischief," Larijani said when addressing an open session of the Majlis.
On Tuesday, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also hailed Iran's might in defending its territorial integrity, and stressed that enemies do not dare to make any aggression against the nation, according to Fars.
The United States and its Western allies believe Iran is working towards a nuclear weapons capability. Tehran denies that, saying that its nuclear program is exclusively peaceful.
The United States and Israel have not ruled out the possibility of attacking on Iran's nuclear facilities. |
