Iran's nuclear negotiator Abbas Araqchi said Thursday that removing oil and bank sanctions against Iran must be part of the potential agreement in ongoing nuclear negotiations.
Talking to the Iranian reporters live on state TV, Araqchi said that "For sure, removal of oil and bank sanctions will be part of the other party's measures at the first stage" of possible agreement.
"The mutual steps in the first phase and the following stages of agreement should be balanced. If the U.S. officials or others want to lift few sanctions, then they should be sure that we will also take few steps" for confidence building, he added.
Fresh round of negotiations between world powers and Iran on the country's nuclear issue, which started on Wednesday in Geneva, entered the second day on Thursday.
