Royal Jordanian airline on Saturday again announced several cancelations and delays of flights as many roads across the country remain blocked due to the heavy snow.
The airline said in a statement that many passengers and crew members are unable to reach the Queen Alia International Airport as heavy snow blocked main roads connecting different parts of the country to the airport.
The canceled flights include those from Amman to Riyadh, Kuwait, Erbil, Aqaba, Beirut and Mousel.
Royal Jordanian also delayed several flights scheduled for Sunday.
On Friday, the airline canceled six flights and delayed five others due to the road condition.
A polar front that started affecting Jordan on Wednesday brought heavy snow and rain across the Kingdom, leading to power cuts, a shortage of fuel and bread in some parts of the country and the occurrence of several accidents.
Jordan will observe a day-off Sunday in light of the ongoing weather condition.
