Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov of Azerbaijan arrived here on Monday on an official visit, official IRNA news agency reported.

During his two-day visit, Hasanov will hold talks with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Dehghan, and meet other senior Iranian officials to discuss bilateral and regional defense and security issues.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited Tehran last week, and four cooperation agreements were signed between the two neighbors during the trip.
