The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) condemned on Tuesday the Israeli Knesset's approval to force-feed striking Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
Zeyad Abu Ein, deputy minister of the PNA prisoners' affairs told Xinhua that the approved Israeli law "targets the prisoners on hunger strike for a premeditated murder."
He warned that the execution of this law "will lead to a mass murder of the prisoners on hunger strike, who insist on keeping striking until the Israeli prisons' service meet their demands."
The Israeli media reported that the Israeli Knesset approved this week a law that allows the Israeli prisons' authorities to feed the prisoners by using force in order to end their hunger strike.
The PNA official unveiled that the Israeli bar association " refused to deal with the law because it violates the human international laws and the principles of the prisoners' medical care."
For about 48 days, 120 Palestinian prisoners under administrative detention have been going on hunger strike demanding Israel to annul the law and free them immediately.
Israel refused their demands, and around 65 prisoners were evacuated last week from the Israeli prisons to Israeli hospitals after they fainted. They live only on salt and water.
