Annual inflation in the eurozone remained stable at 2.4 percent in June, unchanged compared with May, the European Union's (EU) statistical office Eurostat reported on Monday.
The common currency area's monthly inflation was -0.1 percent in June, according to Eurostat figures.
As for the 27-nation EU, annual inflation was 2.6 percent in June, up from 2.5 percent in the previous month and the monthly inflation was 0.0 percent.
The lowest annual rates in June were observed in Sweden (0.9 percent), Greece (1.0 percent) and Bulgaria (1.6 percent), and the highest in Hungary (5.6 percent), Estonia and Malta (both at 4.4 percent).
In eurozone, the main components with the highest annual rates in June were alcohol & tobacco (4.9 percent), housing (3.7 percent), transport (3.1 percent). The lowest annual rates were observed for communications (-2.8 percent), education (0.7 percent), recreation & culture (0.8 percent).
