Business climate deteriorates in Albania: WB
A report released by the World Bank (WB) showed that the business climate in Albania has significantly deteriorated in 2015, the Albanian Daily News reported Thursday.
Compared to the World Bank's Doing Business 2014 Report, Albania fell from the 62nd place to the 97th in the general ranking of 189 countries this year.
The deterioration of the country's business climate was mainly due to the lack of construction permits, the report said.
According to the World Bank, Albania's economic growth accelerated this year and is expected to continue on a positive curve in the next three years, although this growth will be below the country's development potential.
