Dollar changes hands in upper 111 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo
The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.61-62 yen compared with 111.59-69 yen in New York and 111.53-55 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1595-1595 dollars and 129.42-46 yen against 1.1600-1610 dollars and 129.49-59 yen in New York and 1.1629-1631 dollars and 129.70-74 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
