Sentiment at big Japanese manufacturers unchanged in December
Business sentiment among large Japanese manufacturers remained unchanged in December compared to that of three months ago, according to the Bank of Japan's (BOJ) Taikan survey released on Friday.
The major index measuring confidence among large manufacturers such as those involved in producing electronics and automobiles stood at plus 19 at the end of the recording period, the central bank's data showed.
The index for large non-manufacturers including the service sector, meanwhile, stood at plus 24 in December, a 2 point increase from the previous survey conducted by the BOJ in September.
