The Macedonian government will list the securities at the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) in 2019 to make them more available for investors, Macedonian Finance Minister Dragan Tevdovski declared on Wednesday.

Tevdovski and Manager of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) Ivan Steriev signed the agreement on Wednesday.

According to Tevdovski, this is a key step in developing the capital market.

"In 2019 the government securities will become available to more investors, both domestic and foreign," declared Tevdovski.

Steriev said that the listing of government securities would increase stock exchange offer, make them more visible and easily available at the secondary market.

About 130 government bonds at a nominal value of 900 million euros (about 1,082 million U.S. dollars) will be listed initially with the interest rates between 0.9-5.3 percent.
