Meng Pu, Motorola's senior vice president and Greater China chief executive officer, talks to journalists at a media communication meeting in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, Aug. 22, 2012. According to Meng, China has the most Motorola employees except the United Sates and the global layoff plan of Motorola will surely affect many Chinese employees. Most of the laid-off employees have terminated their labor contracts with Motorola in Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai. The staff reduction will start soon in Nanjing. (Xinhua/Shen Peng) |
