Olympic flame arrives back in Murmansk
The Olympic flame has continued its journey across the north of Russia on its way down to the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, arriving Wednesday in the northern port city of Murmansk after stopping in St. Petersburg over the weekend and the Baltic enclave of Kaliningrad yesterday.
After its air journey from Kaliningrad, the Olympic flame is being carried on a relay through Murmansk, with world biathlon champion Sergey Rozhkov being honoured of lighting the city flame later this evening.
The Olympic flame was in Murmansk earlier this month, departing from the northern port city on its way to the North Pole before embarking on its Russian odyssey.
