Miniature souvenirs of giant pandas and artifact made by the Yi nationality in Sichuan's Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture caught the eyes of those attending the forum. Representatives were seen wearing the giant panda memorabilia on their badges wherever they went.

As well as the souvenirs, nearly 20,000 delicately-printed materials introducing Sichuan's tourism resources, produced by the Sichuan Tourism Administration, were also offered at the forum. Representatives of various nations, reporters and working staff were all attracted to the Sichuan booth, making it the most popular on Wednesday.

Boao Night for Sichuan, one of the nine large evening shows at the forum, was hosted on 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Officials from Sichuan Tourism Administration explained the province's three newly launched tourism packages; ten traveling routes in the Tibetan region, the southern Silk Road travel belt, and trips to the hometown of the giant panda.

Former Chinese gymnastic world champion Liu Xuan, who is the ambassador of Sichuan tourism, and other attendees praised Sichuan's extraordinary tourism resources. Foreign guests also expressed their desire to travel to Sichuan.

Sichuan tourism was in the spotlight again this time after it impressed world leaders and entrepreneurs at the Fortune Global Forum and World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention hosted in its provincial capital Chengdu last year.
