According to the organizers of the 3rd China-Eurasia Expo taking place Sept 2 - 7, in the city of Urumqi, Xinjiang, the opening ceremony and some forums will be broadcasted live, so they are expecting at least 1,500 journalists from China and abroad to take part, Xinjiang Daily reported on Wednesday, Aug 28.

In addition, the expo will launch forum to better serve the journalists and keep the public informed about events. There will also be a press center to provide TV and broadcast studios, interview rooms, and multi-media rooms to aid reporters in their work.

This year's expo is pulling in representatives of 49 countries and regions, six international organizations, and 10 multinationals, according to the expo organizing committee. In addition, there will be 23 Chinese provinces and autonomous regions, 14 cities in and prefectures from the Xinjiang region, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps taking part.
