A business card does not only reveal who a person is, but also reflects part of their character and thinking. The secrets behind the business cards of three Chinese businessmen have been unveiled by the Chinese Entrepreneur magazine.

The business card of Feng Jun, CEO of Beijing Aigo Digital Technology, does not stand out when compared to others, however it has been printed with the braille code, a system of raised dots which can be read by touch and represents letters.

In addition to Feng, all of the company employees' business cards have been printed with the tactile writing system. The magazine cited an online blog post, which said that Feng had printed braille business cards given his internationalization concerns. Whether the post was real or not, it is true that Feng has placed great focus on internationalization, stressing many times that Chinese entrepreneurs need to work harder to enter the global market.

The company's business cards with the raised dot code could also be treated as a mark of respect for those living with blindness or impaired vision.

The magazine also revealed the business cards of Zhou Hei Ya, a Chinese food company specializing in the processing and sale of ducks and geese. The company's success has been attributed to its founder and chairman Zhou Fuyu, the report said, adding that the company began as one food stall at a traditional market in Wuhan in central China's Hubei province. Zhou was able to realize his dream in expanding his business by letting go of all family members working for him and hiring experienced managers instead.

Even though the stall has expanded to outlets across the country, Zhou cited the position of waiter rather than chairman on his business card to stay humble in spite of his success.

Meanwhile, Hao Hongfeng, chairman of Chinese B2C alcohol retailing website Jiuxian.com, has made good use of his calling card to promote his company. He lists all the contact information on the front of his business cards, including that of the customer service hotline and his photo. Underneath the photo is a two-dimensional barcode, which gives people a coupon to make purchases on his site using their mobile phone.
