Philippine exports fall for 7th straight month |

Philippine export earnings in November fell 19.4 percent on year to 4.15 billion U.S. dollars as demand for electronics continues to remain weak, the National Statistics Office reported Tuesday.
Compared to previous month's level, export receipts in November declined by 18.2 percent. This is the seventh consecutive month that export revenues contracted.
In November alone, revenues from export of electronic products the country's top export earner - fell 34.5 percent on year to 2.33 billion U.S. dollars.
Major export markets include Japan, the U.S., China and South Korea. |
