France's industrial output grows 1.1 pct in November |

France's industrial production rose by 1.1 percent in November on boosted electrical and electronic activity, data released by the national statistics bureau Insee showed on Tuesday.
After reporting a dim performance, production of French manufacturing business was up by 1.3 percent at the end of November, as electrical and electronic sector doubled its output and other manufacturing including textile and leather expanded by 1.4 percent against 0.6-percent fall in October 2011.
Key business of transport equipments witnessed a slowing trend. It grew by 1.3 percent in November after increasing by 2.7 percent a month earlier, according to the monthly report.
As to coke and refined petroleum products, the output eased to 2.2 percent from 3.1 percent while energy and mining sector inched down by 0.7 percent.
According to the World Trade Organisation (WTO), France was the world's sixth-largest exporter and the fourth-largest importer of manufactured goods in 2009. |
