| Dollar trades at upper 79 yen in early deals in Tokyo |

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 79 yen range early Tuesday in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar bought 79.92-96 yen against 79.86-96 yen in New York and 79.85-86 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.
The euro was quoted at 1.3057-3062 dollars and 104.35-42 yen compared with 1.3047-3057 dollars and 104.23-33 yen in New York and 1.3014-3016 dollars and 103.92-96 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. |
